Barbecue Venison Barbecued Venison?

Barbecued Venison? - barbecue venison

I have about 2 lbs. Game frozen earth, which was given to me. I want to use to make sandwiches, something like that "Sloppy Joes".

How can the same way as if you use other types of meat? I think that move easily in a clay pot and cooking for one or two days and then by the barbecue sauce, it's a special recipe for Wild Grill can I use? Each experience "cooks wild" with advice or suggestions? Thank you!

  1. The clay pot is an excellent idea. Since wild so thin, it tends to receive, Chenier faster and stronger than the kitchen. I agree with the person who proposed to throw in the bacon. The reason is that the game is very lean, fat adds flavor and also adds a touch of salt. I also buy pork. I use a spicy BBQ sauce, onion, green pepper (both chopped finely for cooking the burgers) and pepper, onion and garlic powder to taste. Serve with sliced tomatoes on a toasted Hoagie large.

    NOTES
Place bacon in a large, deep frying pan. Cook on medium-high heat until evenly brown. Remove from pan, crumble and set aside. Brown stew meat, bacon grease for flavor.
Place the onions, sugar, vinegar, cumin, chili powder, garlic, mustard, ketchup, beer, salt and pepper in slow cooker and mix well. Stir and add bacon and venison.
Cook for at least 8 hours on low. Serve on a bun ... I love a good piece of cheddar cheese on top.

  4. If you're a little bacon were useful, it would be nice if the game cook in bacon fat. the meat is much smaller than beef that is simply too dry, mix a little chopped onion, pepper and smother with barbecue sauce
